14-day refund window
If you change your mind, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a Basic or Pro plan. This applies to monthly and yearly plans, and only when you have not used features that are only allowed on paid plans.
Upgrades
If you upgrade from Basic to Pro, you can request a refund of the upgrade charge within 14 days of that payment. If it is approved, you go back to the plan you had before and keep your account as it was. The same rule about using paid features applies.
Try before you pay
Every account starts with a free 30-day trial, no card needed. We recommend using the trial to check CloveDesk suits you before you upgrade.
When we may decline
If you have used the paid plan during the 14 days, for example by sending branded quotes or invoices to clients, collecting signatures, or uploading files above the free threshold, we may decline the refund. This matches the rule Paddle applies to buyers in the EU and UK.
Renewals
Refunds apply to your first payment, and to an upgrade charge as described above. Renewals are not refundable. You can cancel any time to stop future charges.
How to request a refund
Our payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Request your refund at paddle.net using the email on your order receipt. You can also write to us at support@clovedesk.com and we will point you the right way.
Your legal rights
Nothing here limits any rights you have under the law where you live.
What happens when a refund is processed
Refund of an upgrade only
If only an upgrade charge is refunded, none of the above applies. You go back to your earlier plan and keep access.
